About Joanne Baskin, BSW, CPC
Coaching
has become an evolution of ongoing personal and professional
development for Joanne. She has worked for over twenty
years as a professional social worker and leader in both
public and private settings. Having had extensive experience
in both frontline and leadership designations, Joanne
has expressed her writing and creativity through several
program developments.
In 2001, Joanne researched, developed and wrote a training
program on disability awareness. Today, this is still
being used with teachers, students and parents in many
public and private schools throughout Montreal.
In 2004, Joanne created and co-ordinated a drop-in
center for adolescent and young mothers. She brought
in leaders of several non-profit organizations to participate
in the project. This project exists today, continues
to grow and serves as a model for other new program
developments in other communities.
Through these experiences, Joanne’s interest
in progressing others towards their vision, particularly within teams, has been
the core of her professional identity. Joanne’s passion is in
igniting others towards the ownership of their truth
and the inspired actions they take towards achieving
their success.
Joanne achieved her professional coaching certification
through International Coach Academy and membership with
the International Coach Federation. She has a passion
for on-going learning in order to enhance her own skills
and knowledge in working with her clients. She immerses herself in on-line training in order to develop programs customized for each client or organization.
